*Volo was shown to work with Giratina for a while, and Cynthia has also been shown to have an affinity for the Pokémon. In ''Platinum'', she seemed disappointed that Lucas/Dawn got to face Giratina instead of her. In ''Pokémon Masters EX'', her Renegade variant was paired with Giratina, and her Sync Pair Story showed that she saw Giratina as a kind soul.
