=Background=

Beth was one of the youths living at Ordon Village. She was the daughter of the shopkeeper [[Sera]] and the cowardly [[Hanch]]. She was friends with [[Talo]] and [[Malo]], but she was usually annoyed by her immaturity. They wanted to exploit her relation to the shop owner to get their own Slingshot, which only annoyed her. Beth showed [[Link]] how to use his slingshot, and Malo accused her of discreetly being more obsessed with the item than he was. After Talo borrowed Link's sword, the three children used it to chase a monkey into the forest, but Beth eventually lagged behind and suggested Link pursue them on horse when he caught up to her. She was later captured by [[Bokoblin]]s with the rest of Ordon's children.

Most of the children were later rescued and took refuge at Kakariko Village under [[Renado]]'s care, including Beth. [[Colin (Legend of Zelda)|Colin]] later saved Beth from being tramped by [[King Bulblin]] during his attack on Kakariko and got captured in her place. She then helped Colin to recover after he was rescued. Beth also helped to take care of [[Ralis]] and was disappointed that she only found that he was a prince after he had left, as she thought she could have become a princess if she had gotten to know him better. The children were returned to Ordon at the end of the game
