'''Sandile''' is a small crocodile-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the first in a three-step evolutionary line, with its evolved forms being [[Krokorok]] and [[Krookodile]].

=Information=

They live buried within the sands of the desert. The warm sands keep their body temperature from dropping. Sandile move below the sand's surface, and usually only their nose and eyes stick out above ground. It has a dark membrane that shields its eyes from the sun.

Sandile evolves into Krokorok at Level 29.

*In the Pokémon anime, a Sandile wearing sunglasses has made recurring appearances in the Unova series. It performs acts of good through mischief with a group of Sandile followers, although it has also followed Ash's group in hopes of getting a fight with [[Pikachu]], often getting sent blasting off after failing. During its third appearance, it evolved into Krokorok during a battle with Pikachu.
