*In the Pokémon anime, Ash's Roggenrola evolved into a Boldore during a battle with [[Clay]]'s [[Excadrill]]. With the new moves gained from its evolution (as well as the Sturdy ability), the Boldore was able to overcome and defeat the Excadrill, which earned Ash the Quake Badge.
