Worlds and Stages in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest features 8 worlds with different themes that Diddy and Dixie must explore in order to save Donkey Kong from King K. Rool in his Captain facet.
Aside of levels, worlds can also contain spaces where to find other members of the Kong family that offer their services in exchange for a certain amount of Banana Hoard Coins:
- The Monkey Museum is where Cranky Kong gives tips and hints about hidden items in the game.
- The Kong Kollege is where Wrinkly Kong charges coins for saving the game, explaining how to play and how to beat the world boss.
- Funky's Flights II is where Funky Kong rents an airplane to move to other locations in the island.
- Swanky's Bonus Bonanza features Swanky Kong as a show host that makes 3 questions about details in the game. When a quiz is successfully completed Swanky hands life balloons but it can’t be played again.
Levels may contain from 1 to 3 bonus stages that test the player abilities to Collect Stars, Defeat Enemies or simply Getting to the Finish. The awards are always Kremkoins, used to pay at Klubba's Kiosk and pass to one of the levels in the Lost World. Klubba charges 15 Kremkoins per level, making 75 the total number of Kremkoins in the game. Also Cranky Kong hid a special DK coin in each level to test the courage of both Diddy and Dixie. As there are 40 levels 40 DK coins exist. All these items sum up to 102% of completition.
