Background[edit]

The muscle of Orange Star's forces, he studied along with Grit and Nell at the same military school. Like Andy, he was teamed up with the new war advisor and part of Sturm's invasion pretty quickly. Though he at first thought Andy was too young to be a CO, he soon realized he was wrong. During Sturm's second invasion, he had to do battle at a few times with Black Hole's resident muscle-head Flak. Though his involvement in the war was not as much as it was during the first invasion, he was still invaluable to Orange Star's forces.

He was the first of the Macro Land COs to come to the aid of Omega Land (despite not being ordered to help). Though he got along with Jake, he initially did not like taking orders from Rachel. Nevertheless, he was of great assistance to the Allied Nations. Max may not be known for his intelligence, but he knows his own weaknesses and strengths. When not in combat, he spends his time weight-lifting. Andy is his best friend and the two get along well.

Gameplay[edit]

Max is one of the more unbalanced COs due to his leanings towards direct combat. As a result, his units have 120% offense, but his indirect units suffer from -1 indirect range.

  • Max Force - Max's regular CO Power, adds 40% offense boost.
  • Max Blast - Max's Super CO Power, takes his direct offense up to 190%.

Trivia[edit]

  • In Advance Wars 2, Max also got a movement bonus in addition to his CO bonuses. In the original game, his normal attack power was 150% even without a CO Power bonus.
