Lopunny is a delicate but graceful rabbit-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fourth generation games. It is the evolved form of Buneary.

Information[edit]

Lopunny evolves from Buneary when it levels up with a high amount of happiness. It is known for being extremely cautious and cloaks its body with fluffy fur from its ear when it senses danger. Lopunny are also very conscious of their looks and never fail to groom their ears. It runs with sprightly jumps. It has delicate ears and will gracefully kick if the ears are handled roughly. Lopunny sheds its fur twice a year and has soft and fluffy winter fur.

Other Games[edit]

Lopunny could only be caught through evolution in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, while in Explorers of Darkness it could be recruited at Mystery Jungle. A non-playable Lopunny also appeared as part of Team Charm, and this Lopunny was playable in a special episode of Explorers of Sky. In Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, it was found at Vien Forest. In Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, it appeared at Mt. Sorbet. In Pokémon Rumble, they could be found at Windy Prairie. Lopunny also appeared in PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure at the Granite Zone and was the sister of the game's Buneary.

In Other Media[edit]

  • In the anime, a Lopunny first appeared in one Sinnoh episode as the main Pokémon of a Pokémon Stylist named London. A Lopunny that was a skilled dancer also appeared as one of Nando's Pokémon which he used for contests.
  • In the Pokémon Adventures manga, Lopunny appeared in the Diamond/Pearl arc where Platina caught one while she was on her way to Lake Acuity, and she used it initially during her battle with Candice. She continued to train it and use it as part of her team for the remainder of the arc.
