Eliwood is one of the three main characters of Fire Emblem 7. and also appears in Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi, which takes place after the former. He is also known as the father of Roy, protagonist of Fuuin no Tsurugi.
Eliwood was born to the marquess of Pherae. In Fire Emblem, he embarked on a quest to find his missing father and wound up saving the world from a plot to revive man's ancient enemy, the dragons. Afterwards he succeeded his deceased father as marquess of Pherae and had a minor role in Fuuin no Tsurugi, which instead starred his son Roy.
