Daigoroh is a F-Zero racer and the son of Samurai Goroh that makes his first appearance in F-Zero AX.

Background

The only son of Samurai Goroh, Daigoroh very much takes after his father. He first entered the F-Zero Grand Prix at the age of 10 and proved himself to be an able pilot. He's an excellent swordsman and often excels beyond even his father in terms of overall skill. He's also skilled at sports, like soccer and baseball, though he isn't very good at mathematics. However he's known to be quite a handful and loves to pull pranks (like putting a frog in his father's mouth while he was sleeping) or running around with his sword whipping in the air.

However he has immense respect for his dad and boasts about him being the greatest thief ever. His most valued treasure is, in fact, a plastic action figure modeled after his dad. But it doesn't matter what the subject is, he'll boast about his dad no matter what. For that reason, he entered the Grand Prix so that he can try and beat Captain Falcon and earn the respect of his father. He doesn't follow his father in all respects, as he modeled his racer after Antonio Guster's Green Panther. And if he does win, he plans to spend the money on himself.

Despite his admiration of his father, he opted for a different design than the Fire Stingray. The Silver Rat is actually modeled after the Green Panther and as a result is built to excel at boost ability, but at the cost of the structural strength and its handling on corners (which is quite the opposite of the Stingray). Because of the weak body, it requires a skilled pilot to avoid contact with other racers. It is the smallest F-Zero machine in the GX/AX games.

Trivia

• It's never mentioned in F-Zero GX or AX who Daigoroh's mother is. It could possibly be Lisa Brilliant from the GP Legend timeline, though neither Daigoroh and Lisa Brilliant have ever appeared in the same timeline.
• Even though Silver Rat is the smallest F-Zero machine in visible size, it still is not the lightest. It is surpassed in lightness by two other machines; King Meteor and Twin Noritta.
