The Ambassador Program was Nintendo's way of rewarding those who bought a 3DS prior to the early price drop in the summer of 2011 in the form of free games that were not yet being released for the 3DS Virtual Console. It consisted of one set of ten NES games and another set of ten Game Boy Advance games. They were all released by the end of 2011.
