Braviary is a loyal eagle-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the evolved form of Rufflet.

Information[edit]

Braviary evolves from Rufflet at Level 54. They are fight selflessly for their friends without thinking of themselves. Braviary are still powerful enough to airlift cars. They have been referred to as "soldiers of the skies" and earn respect from their peers depending on how many battle scars they each have.

Appearances[edit]

Mainstream Games[edit]

In Pokémon: White Version, Braviary could be uncommonly found in the dark grass at Route 11 and Village Bridge.

Other Appearances[edit]

Other Media[edit]

  • In the Pokémon Adventures manga, a Braviary is one of Black's main Pokémon during the Black/White arc.

Trivia[edit]

  • Its name is a combination of "brave" (a trade commonly attributed to the bold eagle) with "aviary" (which is a type of bird house). Its red-and-blue color scheme is in reference to America, as the eagle is its national bird (and the fifth generation's setting, Unova, is based on America).
