Batta "the Beast" was a bandit presumed to be from the Bern Mountains. He arrived at Sacae with just one minion, taking control of a ger and planning to raid nearby villages. But he never got to live out his plans, as Lyn arrived to stop him. After a brief battle, the bewildered Batta was killed.

Zugu was a rough brigand who was hired by Lord Lundgren to assassinate Lyn. He attempted to ambush Lyn with a gang of minions on the outskirts of Bulgar. Luckily the Sacaen knights Kent and Sain were there to aid Lyn. Zugu died in the battle, and with his last words he expressed his frustrations that he thought he would only be fighting a lone girl.

Class: Mercenary
HP: 20

Glass was a pompous swordsman who believed that even gods feared his name. He raided the temple with a gang of brigands and after examining the Mani Kati in its altar, he claimed that the sword was perfect for someone of his skills.

However, Glass found that he could not remove the Mani Katti from the altar, and the priest claimed that the sword did not want to be wielded by Glass. Glass furiously ordered to dismantle the temple to get the sword. It is unknown how far he was actually willing to carry this plan, as Lyn's group of warriors soon came to challenge him. Glass was killed in the following battle

Hector's Tale[edit]

Chapter 25[edit]

Pascal[edit]

Class: Paladin
HP: 48

Pascal Grentzer is a former count of Landskron in Bern. He was a feared soldier who was willing to massacre an entire village to kill one person. Pascal is known to have invited all of his subjects to his castle once and killed them all. He then fled from the king and joined the Black Fang, wherein he received the nickname of Beast from Brendan Reed due to his savagery. Pascal belittled Reed's ideals and simply enjoyed performing his work of killing others. He spent some time as one of the Four Fangs, but he was later imprisoned.

In "Chapter 25: Crazed Beast", Sonia set him free so that he could wipe out the forces of Eliwood and Hector. Pascal led an ambush on them, and one of his soldiers suggested that they report this to Brendan Reed, but Pascal refused to invite the current Four Fangs to take what he saw his own glory. Ultimately, he was defeated. He spent his dying moments wondering if he was truly experiencing what he had so often wrought.
