Bob Charlie is a boxer appearing as an opponent in the Punch-Out!! games.
Background[edit]
Little is known about Bob Charlie's background, except that he is believed to be fighting under an assumed name and that he was named Jive King of Kingston before leaving Jamaica. He believed that those who could not find the rhythm were lost, and he incorporated rhythm into the way he moved in combat. One of his strangest moves involved going into one corner and then spinning at his opponent with his arms spinning around.
In Super Punch-Out!!, he appears as the first opponent in the Major Circuit and is ranked #3 in the circuit.

- He is a parody of Jamaican reggae artist Bob Marley. In fact the character is said to be fighting under an assumed name, implying that he is intended to be the true Bob Marley.
- He is a palette swap of Gabby Jay, who is the first opponent of the Minor Circuit.
