Beck is a playable unit appearing in Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Tsurugi and Shadow Dragon.

Background

Beck was a ballistician working for the Grustian army. During the War of Darkness, he took part in a losing battle at Castle Deil (presumably the one in Chapter 10/8 SNES) and fled after they were shamefully defeated. He ultimately took refuge in a village by Fort Menedy. When he heard that Marth's Altean army was nearby, he readied his ballista and joined them when they visited the village in Chapter 13. He presumably remained in the Grustian army after the war, and a story is related in which he subjugated borderland rebels when they surrendered due to never having seen a ballista before.

Trivia

• In Shadow Dragon, he receives Support Bonuses from Marth.
• He was cut out from the Monshou no Nazo remake/sequel, so his whereabouts during the War of Heroes are unknown.
