Beartic is a large and imposing polar bear-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the evolved form of Cubchoo.

Information

Beartic evolves from Cubchoo at Level 37. They thrive in cold areas, and their main habitats are cool northern areas. Because of their adept swimming abilities, Beartic swim around in northern seas in order to catch prey. They are also skilled in land combat, as Beartic can freeze its breath at will, which can allow it to create fangs and claws of ice to fight with.

In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Beartic appeared uncommonly outside Dragonspiral Tower only during the winter.
