It's like a double take in writing.

This game will need a Don Paolo/Winston Payne team-up.

My God, it is still here.

It wasn't just a weird dream. My God.

THIS UNHOLY COMBINATION THAT SHOULD FOREVER HAVE BEEN LEFT IN TWAIN SHALL... VERILY ROCK.

Seriously, these two gameplay styles will mesh perfectly. The fun of Ace Attorney is in the courtroom... to be honest, the old rigamarole of clicking on every object in a room and grinding through every option when talking to suspects to gather info was occassionally amusing, but also kinda tedious. Now we get to SOLVE PUZZLES FOR CLUES.

"What can you tell me about the murder?"
"I HAFF TVELFF MATCHSTEEK..."

Indeed.

Man, this is like, two of my favorite things in one, like french fries and beating hippies. What next? New Super Mario Battalion Wars?

Heh, the art style make Luke and Layton look like Lego people. Either that or the English have a lot more to worry about than bad teeth in that Universe.

And the return of Maya! Hooray for Maya! Let's hear it for that hamburger-chewing Watson.

Ten bucks the plot involves them both being plucked from their time periods (Universes?) and being sent back in time to a witch trial.

Note: Phoenix, your client has fangs. You love the hard ones, don't you?

They're doing this? Really?

The reason Professor Layton is, and always shall be, an infinitely better game than Phoenix Wright is this:

When I solve a puzzle, I can directly input the solution, and not have to find a way to coax my idiot avatar into figuring it out himself.

I might as well just put this in here.

3DS Shop Footage

And an accompanying report

Notes:
-Just as Iwata said, the 3DS Shop is as if Nintendo fused the Shop Channel and Nintendo Channel.
-Gameplay footage straight in the Shop.
-Rate Games on the spot and see what others think of games.
-Download Trials! The fact they're showing off the GB VC while discussing this seems to imply that VC games will get Trials too.

Well, I preordered mine. I can't wait until the sexy new 3DS Mark 2 comes out next April and makes me regret that decision.

Ocarina of Time 3DS crammed with new stuff.

Quote:
If you're interested in picking up The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D but you're worried about buying a visually enhanced port, Nintendo's here to calm your arse down. According to cheeky president Satoru Iwata, the game is "crammed" with fresh content, though a lot of it's being kept secret.

"Of course, the Nintendo 3DS version of Ocarina of Time is crammed with interesting things that weren't in the Nintendo 64 version," he said, "but we'll wait to talk about those [closer to] the release."

I was sold on this game as soon as I heard it was in development, but the promise of unique content is definitely a compelling extra. What kind of new stuff do you think is coming, and what would you want to see?

I picked mine up today. I'm greatly enjoying it. I tried playing levels with and without the 3D on Pilotwings Resort. Not only does the 3D effect work, but it does improve gameplay. It's much easier to line up your landings and fly through rings when you can tell exactly where they are.

VC Super Mario Land changed the names of some of the enemies that have current counterparts.

Pakkun Flower is just Piranha Plant now.
Chibibo is Goombo.
Nokobon is Bombshell Koopa.
Gira is Bullet Biff.

The rest are the same, including kingdom names.

Changed their names in what? The elaborate cutscenes?

I guess the game comes with some kind of manual?

I guess this means my long-awaited Super Mario Land remake with updated graphics, controls and extra content is delayed again. Still, they're doing some amazing stuff with all this, ain't they?

And guys, how about that Conference, hey?
