How was Dark Dawn, GORE? I remember loving Golden Sun, but not so much liking the sequel (Lost Age?), so I've been reluctant to pick up the new one.

I thought it was pretty great. The battles are cool on the DS, it gets challenging and the storyline gets exciting at points. Also, mostly cool party members and psynergy. The game does come to its end kinda abruptly I thought (I haven't tried any bonus dungeons though) and the storyline becomes quite confusing at that point. Not really much disappointment at all though, I'd figure it's worth a play.

Months ago, I honestly never thought I'd ever beat Dark Void Zero. Now, here we are. Funny how perspectives change.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (Wii) - March 18

Very interesting take on the Prince of Persia franchise. It allowed you to create your own handholds and such, which led to some pretty ridiculous platforming. I found myself fighting the controls a lot, though. Very poorly implemented auto-aim on the jumps.

I took over Europe by dousing it in toxic chemicals, then liberated it with about seven consecutive nukes. It's been a bad week to be European.

May 06 - Super Mario Advance: Super Mario Bros. 3 100% Completion - Nice update to the original.

Now this I'm curious on--what did you think of Epic Mickey? At the end of the day, I'm a fan, but I still have mixed feelings about it.

Shenmue (Dreamcast)
Ico (Playstation 2)
Shadow of the Colossus (Playstation 2)
Secret of Mana (Super Nintendo)

Been playing a lot of weird games (mostly the last four). Even Secret of Mana is weird. The combat has an utterly casual difficulty curve, but the game does all it can to make sure you get lost and cannot find your way forward. It's a mix of elements I can't say I'm a fan of.
