Welcome to the OnGoing Story forum. I will be your host, Masamune. Luigi of the Pipes is also somewhere, probably behind you or something. Don't turn around and he won't harm you.
So, all your friends are saying to you, "Hey yournamehere! How come you never post in the OG Forum?"
You think about it for a second. This forum is a big, intimidating place. You struggle to answer and reply meekly with, "Well. Those posts are so long! I don't think I could muster the energy to post something that long!"
But oh your humiliation as your friends all laugh at your expense. "Dear yournamehere, whatever gave you that idea? Your posts can be any length. Pages long or a few a paragraphs. It's all good, unless they are one-liners, thus inviting Masamune's wrath!"
You seem to consider this new information as you think helplessly of another excuse. "Yeah, well doesn't my plot or character have to be approved... or something?"
I'm afraid to say the laughing only becomes worse. Your good friend puts his arm around your shoulders and says to you, "That's silly! You post anything you like! As long as it fits with the story, is coherent, and doesn't contradict anything, it's fine!"
Your defenses crumbling all around, you venemously strike back with, "Well! I joined this one OG and they started controlling my character! How about that!?"
The shame and disgrace on you only worsens, but fortunately your good friend silences them and replies, "That's the name of the game. But Uncle Mune has decreed that characters must stay in character. And if you have problems controlling a character someone else introduced, feel free to talk with them to get ideas on how to write. It's really simple!"
You begin to wonder why you have no posted on an OG now as you desperately think of more excuses. "Well, you know, I'm not... a very good writer, you know?"
What a great friend you have, for you receive a pat on the back as he explains to you, "Ah, but yournamehere, OGs come in all sorts! If you don't want to write in the complicated stories, there is simpler ones to post in. There is different styles for everyone. As long as your posts don't brutalize the English language, it's all good!"
Catching on this, you slyly reply to him, "I failed second grade English and always type 'R' instead of saying 'are'. How about that?"
Your friend gives you a stern look and simply says to you, "Well dude, then you suck. You shouldn't be on any forums then, so like, go study or something. Yeesh."
