Sounds pretty sick, if ending a bit abruptly

Oh, yeah, I should've mentioned it's a work in progress.

That loops pretty well, actually.

I like it, but it's not blowing me away. It's good generic car chase music or whatever, though.

Hum. I don't know if I like this. It certainly sounds weird enough to fit a dimensional trade-in, but I don't know if it sounds good as well.

Read that as "A Sucker for a Fark"

Kasheen would be even cooler if you made it constantly just barely not annoying. Not an insult at all, I swear. But the first part is neat because it seems somewhat like it's not trying to be music, but is ending up that way anyway. If the rest of the song sounded that way, it would be neat, in my opinion. Others will surely disagree.

As far as A (Can you dig it...) SUCKAAAAAAAAA for Funk goes, It sounds okay. Is it supposed to sound like funk? Because, no offense, it doesn't really give off that feel. It might be because the bass is more normal and less poppy and slappy and jerky (beef?). I couldn't find any good quality funk songs on youtube, so instead, I shall give you whatever I can find. Hopefully this will be of help.

Dimensional Trade-in is still cool beans, by the way.

Thanks. :D

Kasheen's intro is awesome. 8) I love the almost-annoying feeling, and I was thinking I'd try to go there with this song. The line between actually annoying and almost annoying is an awkward line to straddle for me.

As for A Sucker for Funk, that's a terrible name. I couldn't think of a name, so I just Madlibbed one. I think I might want to make a funk song, though, now that I think about it...

Also, been listening to Street Gospels. Can't say it seems up my alley. Three Cheers for Disappointment, though, is huge smiley face.

Hey again, I hope you know you've ruined my life.
The bitterest words are never quite sincere.

Three Cheers for Disappointment is just a fun fun album. You should keep listening to Street Gospels, though. I bet if you just put it on loop while you're doing some work of some sort, you'll probably start liking it.

So, I wanted to work on this some more before posting it, but I've reached a problem. Both of these songs are WIPs.

I Don't Know That Song is supposed to be in B minor. I think B minor's a lot more eerie than A minor or C minor, but at some points in the song I think it sounds just plain out of key. I think I just need more practice with B minor.

Then there's I Don't Know That Song Seriously, which is in C minor, which I know a lot better, and I'm fairly sure none of it is out of tune.

Question is: which one do I go with? I'm asking for the board's advice on this one.

What makes a song creepy is usually the lack of familiarity with the sound we're hearing, I think, so try to go with the obscure thing you can think of. This is all guessing, by the way. Going with minor as opposed to major is probably a step in the right direction. Maybe make them either sharp or flat to boot? I know only enough music theory to just barely function, but I figure I could try to offer my advice and make myself a fool.

Actually, A Sucker for a Funk is the most clever idea you've ever come up with for anything.

Also, on Dimensional Trade-in, not that you care what I think, but decrease the tempo slightly. It moves to fast to fully appreciate the tune. Not by much, but find something you like.
