Yeah, I know there are plenty of Mario OGs floating around the OG Board already, but how about one more?

This OG will be about one of Mario's earliest adventures, but I'm not sure where to start: chronologically (Yoshi's Island), Mario's first adventure (Donkey Kong) or the first Mario Bros. adventure in the Mushroom Kingdom (Super Mario Bros.) I'll dump that decision on you.

It should start with a Prologue protaining to Yoshi's Island. Then it should go to his very first appearance, Donkey Kong, and grow from there.

Isn't there a story like this on Nintendoland?

Not that I'm aware of. Anyway, I've decided on the OG:

Similar to what Nintenfreak suggested, it will retell the story of the Super Mario Bros and contain some flashbacks to Donkey Kong. But Yoshi's Island's story won't be told beyond vague referances, and it could be a revelation we save for later, maybe during Super Mario World (assuming we ever get there).
