I might try to finish this sometime. The other night, my friend Kelly asked me to tell her a bedtime story because she couldn't get to sleep. So I cooked this up via texting. I stopped once she appeared to be asleep, which wasn't that long after I started.

Quite a long time ago, even longer than it took your grandma to turn 50, in a land much farther than a block from where you live, lived a girl who was not much different than you.

She had the same colored hair, the same big bright eyes, and even a very similar southern accent, even though this vague land in which she lived was nowhere near any area where such an accent is common.

Anyway, this girl was a girl unlike any other girl in all the land. While all the other girls were too busy worrying about themselves (what hairstyle would make them popular, what boy would be able to support them so that they never have to make an honest living, what jeans made their ass look less fat), this particular girl wanted to help OTHERS.

This girl wanted to be a nurse. She wanted to be able to diagnose and treat any problem that was brought her way. Unfortunately for her, everyone in this land didn't know what a nurse was, and they thought that everything could be cured by a combination of Gatorade and whatever 5-year-old pills they could find in their mother's underused medicine cabinet.

It deserves to be finished.

Yes quite sweet, work in the lemonade

Kind of an interesting read. I say "kind of" because it's so unusual to me that, in part, I don't know how to react. I'd like to see where you take this.
