Super Mario 3D Land - Finally completed the S-Crown level with both brothers. A satisfying victory.
Professor Layton and the Last Specter - Every. Single. Puzzle. Including the weekly ones.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Allied Campaign.

I... don't remember dates.

Someone should do the final tally on last year's lists.

There are a lot of games i beat over the holiday, but i can't remember which ones were last year and which ones were this year.

I DID complete my Pokédex on Pokémon White week afore last, so I suppose that's one way to beat the game.

Metroid II: Return of Samus (3DS VC, January 1)
Donkey Kong (3DS VC)
Kirby's Dream Land (3DS VC)

Can't remember the dates for the last two but could probably check on my 3DS. Also in Super Mario 3D Land I've beaten everything but S8-Crown

S8-♕ is actually easier the more you play it, but I recommend using a P-Wing with one of the characters because nique la merde.

Of course it's easier the more you play it. That's the point! :P

A P-Wing? I did it by the sweat of my brow, the sweat of my... thumbs... and, okay, a Tannoki Suit in reserve. I break it out RIGHT after dealing with the Terrible Twosome. Once those two are out of the way, it's time for some fancy jumpin!

It's not QUITE as hard as The Perfect Run (from Mario Galaxy 2), but it took me almost a week. I estimate I lost over 150 lives total trying to beat that. It was like an OBSESSION.

Yeah, I started playing Triple Trouble the other day and have very quickly come to hate it and its springs everywhere. Makes me miss Sonic Chaos. And makes my inner child a bit sad due to it having been that one game I wanted that got away during my childhood (although that was almost entirely due to the Nack factor).

In news more relevant to the topic, I did take another swing at World 8-Crown and beat it at last. Now I just have to eventually do the same with Luigi.

Fang the Sniper was a puss in the game, but his inclusion made slightly more sense than Knuckles who doubled as brain dead retard who will believe anything Eggman says and damsel in distress. Oh and then there was Metal Sonic for no reason. Makes you wonder why they didn't include him in all the troubles they were giving Sonic, or you know, use him instead of Knuckles. But seeing as how as late as Sonic Advance 2, Eggman was still tricking Knuckles, I guess I can let it slide.

The biggest fault of the game is the screen resolution. Some bosses are off screen when you fight them, some areas are impossible to find. You can never quite tell which walls you can destroy, and destroying them is rather inconsistent. Collision detection is a crapshoot when it comes to enemies, projectiles and rings.

The next biggest fault is processor size, but I'll let it slide since I'm going to give them the benefit of a doubt that they were doing the best they could and weren't pulling a Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis.

That said, I'm looking forward to the Tails games and Sonic Labrynth, along with the Sonic Advance games somewhere down the line.

Speaking of Fang, I'm surprised they haven't used him. I'm told they said they'd like to but can't think of a role since thief had been taken by Rouge, but well, his last name is Sniper. Makes me wonder why they don't retool him as an assassin. Not that they should shoehorn him in anywhere, but if they're hurting for a role.

Mutant Mudds. I got a really fun secret at the end, and discovered a bunch of glitches letting me fall through walls.

While I'd've preferred it stay a 3D platformer, we got Wario Land VB 2, which is almost as good.
