Oh god, I hope so. If it happens to be another squirrel that's electric, I'll haffa kill someone. But they look very similar, as far as body shape goes. It's only slightly heavier, but that doesn't really mean it's unrelated.

Plus it's the flying squirrel everyone wanted. It's weak to Ice and Rock, but the immunity to ground is worth it.

Oh, this reminds me... No never mind I forgot. No, now I remember. Apparently Pokemon you get online, like on the real life internet, can have non-standard abilities. This is really shracking cool. I know Glaceon gets Ice Body, which is way better than Snow Cloak any day. Vaporeon gets Hydration, which is about as good as Water Absorb, but it's been really underutilized.

Wasn't it said that only new Pokemon are available before the Elite 4, though? Unless you breed it to get Pachirisu after that.

That or it's not available until after the Elite Four, like Electivire was. And Electivire got the everloving shit promoted out of it, but the only way to get one was to own a copy of Fire Red to put in the GBA slot to get an Elekid with an Electrizer.
