I'm having a terrible time trying to remember the name of this game. I played it when computer's started coming out with games, it was probably on a floppy. If this sounds familiar would you either give me more information or the name itself?
You start out on an island, moving around with the arrow keys. You fight but I'm not sure if it goes to another screen or if it's the same screen. What I do remember is at one point you are in mines, there are pickaxes around and miners moving in to work, then leaving. In another part there are three towns that are similar, and all have a machine that effects the color of their shirts. In yet another part you find a cave full of transformed plant or tree looking things, and have to get rid of the curse to turn them back into normal. The layout of the game is similar to Ultima. This is all I remember, not enough to search for and find the exact game. Thanks for your help!

Sorry, I've seen a few old PC RPGs, and I dunno what this one is. If it looks like Ultima, though, you probably want to look into that, considering there are a lot of them. Conversely, if you can remember the date and stuff like that, you might be able to look it up on GameFAQs or something.

When computers started coming out with games? Obviously somone needs a history lesson... If it has graphics, that's quite a bit later than when computer's started coming out with games...

But I digress... I'm not sure of the game you're talking about. Are you sure you don't have any more information?

Looks a lot like Dark Phear but the story seems to be different. You are on islands, in caves, mines, a castle - in the buildings there are beds and other furniture. When you are at a castle you are stuck in there because of the guards, you have to find a child? to follow you to a hidden passage in the shrubs and lead them back to their family. I think there was a town that was abandoned and all the buildings were falling apart.

In color, or was it just a bunch of white blocky things for graphics? Like the original Oregon Trail? Or was it more detailed, like King's Quest?

Color, and kind of blocky in a sense that you move left, right, up and down. Not as detailed as King's Quest. Thanks for your reply.

Can you remember the names of any of the characters? Or locations? Just one name.

You said it was like Ultima. Is this like the Ultima series before or after animation?
